Dual Attention-in-Attention Model for Joint Rain Streak and Raindrop Removal

چکیده
Rain streaks and rain drops are two natural phenomena, which degrade image capture in different ways. Currently, most existing deep deraining networks take them as distinct problems individually address one, thus cannot deal adequately with both simultaneously. To this, we propose a Dual Attention-in-Attention Model (DAiAM) includes DAMs for removing raindrops. Inside the DAM, there attentive maps - each of attends to heavy light rainy regions, respectively, guide process differently applicable regions. In addition, further refine result, Differential-driven (D-DAiAM) is proposed "heavy-to-light" scheme remove via addressing unsatisfying Extensive experiments on one public raindrop dataset, streak our synthesized joint (JRSRD) dataset have demonstrated that method not only capable raindrops simultaneously, but also achieves state-of-the-art performance tasks.

Developmental learning model for joint attention
This paper proposes a developmental learning model for joint attention between a robot and a human caregiver. The proposed model has abilities to accelerate the learning and improve the final task performance owing to two kinds of developments: a robot’s development and a caregiver’s one. The robot’s development means that the sensing and the actuating capabilities of the robot change from imma...
متن کاملAttention, Joint Attention, and Social Cognition.
Before social cognition there is joint processing of information about the attention of self and others. This joint attention requires the integrated activation of a distributed cortical network involving the anterior and posterior attention systems. In infancy, practice with the integrated activation of this distributed attention network is a major contributor to the development of social cogn...
متن کاملEarly social attention impairments in autism: social orienting, joint attention, and attention to distress.
This study investigated social attention impairments in autism (social orienting, joint attention, and attention to another's distress) and their relations to language ability. Three- to four-year-old children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD; n = 72), 3- to 4-year-old developmentally delayed children (n = 34), and 12- to 46-month-old typically developing children (n = 39), matched on mental ...
متن کاملA constructive model for the development of joint attention
This paper presents a constructive model by which a robot acquires the ability of joint attention with a human caregiver based on its embedded mechanisms of visual attention and learning with self-evaluation. The former is to look at a salient object in the robot’s view, and the latter is to learn sensorimotor co-ordination when visual attention has succeeded. Since the success of visual attent...
متن کاملJoint attention and early language.
This paper reports 2 studies that explore the role of joint attentional processes in the child's acquisition of language. In the first study, 24 children were videotaped at 15 and 21 months of age in naturalistic interaction with their mothers. Episodes of joint attentional focus between mother and child--for example, joint play with an object--were identified. Inside, as opposed to outside, th...
